Frequently asked questions we try to answer with our summery of useful information below.

When and how can I reach the reception?

Our reception is open from 6.30 am till 11 pm. Our team you reach by email ( or by phone (+41 44 552 55 88).

At what time is check-in?

Your hotel room is available from 2pm. In case of an earlier arrival please contact us prior to your stay.

I am arriving by car. Are there parking spaces?

JET HOTEL offers indoor and covered outdoor parking. Please register your car during check-in. Per night we charge CHF 22.- for your parking space.

I am arriving by train. How can I reach JET HOTEL?

JET HOTEL is located right next to Rumlang train station. After your arrival you just have a two minute walk to reach us.

I am arriving by plane. Is there a shuttle transfer?

When arriving at Zurich International Airport you can take bus 510 to Rumlang. The ride takes 10 minutes. For a shuttle ride please contact us during your booking process. For a shuttle ride we charge CHF 10.- per person.

I am planning a longer stay. Do you offer special rates for longstay guests?

For guests with interest on a longer stay we provide rooms with a kitchenette. Please contact us to get your personal offering for a longstay.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets (small dogs) are welcome at JET HOTEL. Please contact and inform us prior to your arrival. Please note that additional costs for cleaning are raised.

Is WiFi available at the hotel?

JET HOTEL provides high-speed WiFi in all areas free of charge.

Does my room have air conditioning?

Our rooms work with controlled airflow. During summer we generate cooling through a specific floor cooling system.

Do you offer non-smoking rooms?

JET HOTEL is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is only allowed in outside areas and on your balcony - by the way - all of our rooms do have a balcony.

I am arriving outside reception hours? How can I check in?

For arrivals outside our reception hours we can provide your physical keycard in our keybox or send your key digitally on your mobile phone. Please note that for both services your payment needs to be made prior to your arrival.

We are traveling with kids. Do you offer baby cribs or extra beds?

For your baby we always store a baby crib in your room. Also extra beds are possible in some of our rooms.


At what time do you serve breakfast?

Our breakfast times are from 6.30 - 10 am from monday - friday - during weekends and public holidays we serve our breakfast buffet from 7.00 - 10.30 am. In case of an early departure please inform our reception staff. For sure we prepare a breakfast bag for you.

What do you serve for breakfast?

We love breakfast - accordingly extensive, fresh and delicious is our daily breakfast buffet which is prepared with dedication. This is what you can expect for breakfast: very good coffee / various types of bread and rolls / various cereals and dried fruits / various types of cheese and yoghurt / miscellaneous sausage products / fresh fruits, juices and vegetables / scambled eggs and bacon.

Does my room have a minibar?

Only our deluxe double rooms do offer a minibar. The first filling is included in the room rate. For additional drinks please check the beverage list in your room and contact our staff at the reception. Please note that additional fillings of your minibar will be directly charged to your room. Alternatively we have a MAXI-BAR right next to our lobby (self service). Just help yourself and inform our staff .

Is there a restaurant at JET HOTEL?

JET HOTEL does not run a regular restaurant. But for sure we offer little dishes in our dining room.

Can I get hot drinks at JET HOTEL?

We are happy to inform you about our unique service of FREE coffee, tea and water. No additional costs will apply when enjoying our fabulous ROMEO coffee ..... we have never seen such as service.

There are books in my room. Why?

We love reading - especially when we are traveling. Therefore we provide a small selection of books in your room. Also in our lobby you will find our book shelf with interesting literature. In case you cannot stop reading just contact our staff. For sure you can take your book for a small fee with you.

My friends are in another floor. Can I visit them?

Out of security reasons your keycard or mobile key gives access only to main areas and the floor your room is located.

I expect guests for breakfast who do not stay at the hotel. Is that possible?

We welcome all guests - even without a stay in our house. Just book the breakfast for your guest at our reception.

Is smoking in my room allowed?

All of our rooms are non-smoking rooms. This issue we take really serious. Please note that smoking in rooms will follow up with additional costs for cleaning. Also in case of smoking in rooms a fire alarm can occur - all costs for the intervention of the local fire brigade which are currently CHF 1'800- per issue we have to charge to the originator. Our recommendation: please enjoy your smoke in our outside areas or on your balcony.

I plan a visit of Zurich city? How do I get there?

For a visit of Zurich city we recommend a short trip by train. Within 18 minutes you reach Zurich main station without any train change. Your train ticket to Zurich main station you can get at cost price at the reception.

What payment options do I have?

JET HOTEL accepts all current credit and debit cards as well as cash payment in CHF and EUR.

Do you offer a laundry service?

Unfortunately we do not offer a laundry service. BUT - for our guests we provide a laundry area for self service with washing machine and tumble dryer. For each machine we charge CHF 10.-.


At what time is check out?

Our regular check out time is at 11 am. If you wish a later check out please contact our reception team.

I need to get back to Zurich Airport? What transport options do you offer?

For a ride to Zurich Airport we recommend a bus ride which brings you within 10 minutes from Rumlang train station directly to Zurich airport (CHF 4.40 per person and ride). For a personal shuttle ride we charge CHF 10.- / person. Please book your shuttle at the reception.

Can I leave my luggage at JET HOTEL after check-out for a later pick-up?

For sure we store your luggage after official check-out times. Just contact our reception.

I forgot some items in my room. How can I get them back?

In case of any forgotten items please contact us immediately after your departure. For sure we try our utmost to send you the forgotten goods. Please note that this service is not free. All costs for packaging and transport will be charged.

I loved JET HOTEL and would like to come back. How should I book?

This kind of request we simple love - for sure we would like a direct booking from your side. And yes - we will give you a discount for all direct bookings.
